The concept of Lizzy releasing a trot song was initially perfect for me, it's bizarre and it was unexpected and that totally fits her style and personality. I didn't expect myself to like this genre of music and I'm not entirely sure if this song represents the traditional sound of trot, but I really, really enjoyed this song! (It's still stuck in my head as I write this post). If I could make one complaint about the song, it would be the cameo by Doni, but that's just because he kind of annoys me, but his inclusion in the song isn't enough to hinder my opinion overall.
As for the MV..simply put, it's great. Usually when people try to replicate old cinema you can clearly tell that it is just a lame camera filter, but with this MV, it looks really authentic. I'm a sucker for this type of style, so I'll probably be returning to watch this MV a lot.
Overall, I'm happy with this release! Does this mean that maybe we will see solos from the other After School members this year? Who will be next? Nana?
